![]() Wildlands came really close but then we had the release of Narco Road soon after which you know was in development before WL's debut.the first in a chain of odd design decisions that would taint an otherwise very promising direction for the franchise IMO. I've said it for a while now but it's my feeling is that Ubi simply doesn't have the mindset to create a proper GR title anymore. And what about the 2 other unannouced games? For some time we specualted that Project Over would be the new GR, is that project terminated as well? I'm not going to lie, my main fear is since they seem uncapable to deliver a proper GR game, is that they may shelf the entire franchise. but I don't think it's a stretch to assume that the overwhelming criticism of the reveal played no small part in the eventual cancellation. The " A" and the " I" should be Capital Letters and pop out, stand out and not get lost in the shuffle of the text (for lack of a better I understand your feeling, moreover none of the articles give your a reason why they terminated the developpment of Frontline. Of course this would mean doing some sort of Q&A within the Studio and allowing the community have a bit of say so in what they are doing, making sure that if they want EVERYONE (Hardcore, Casuals & Lemmings) to play it, that each level of difficulty is worked on accordingly and how it should be. Isn't it publicly a known fact that the Paris Studio said they were not interested in making shooter games (and BP is a clear indication of it for sure)? I don't think I heard this in my dreams so no, I am not interested in another blurry egomaniac vision by the Paris Studio and only if they get down from their high and mighty stupor of a horse (higher ups and decision makers) and give this to some other studio that really wants to take pride in what they do is when we can get something similar to the Original.įrankly, and of course this is a personal opinion, if they were to update the graphics of the Original, work on the AI and open the maps a bit with perhaps a few more missions they could have an easy GOTY in their hands. IN their defense they did say it was because of the Harsh welcome it got, God I did chuckled a bit when I read that.Īnd again, I rather be sad once and for all that the Franchise, once the King of Tactical Semi-Milsims has died, than to continue to get broken turds so far out of the franchise roots just cause their Egos have clouded their vision and they now think that they created the Universe and possibly God as well (for those who believe in him, I am not trying to insult anyone here.) and we need to bow down and kneel to them. were you expecting anything else from their collective egos? I am surprised they didn't blame Covid and us for not supporting their exquisite egos and visions. Perhaps this will ground them and teach them how to once again become humble and respectful of their customers and consumers alike, doubtful but hey, we can always dream and wish, I know you know this but it is worth saying it again. Well, cards on the table, I did wake up once to go do #1 but normally it could be 2 to 3 times I rather they shelve the franchise and preserve some of the legacy, even though at this point they have pretty much walked, dance and crap all over its open grave, but I digress, than to have them continue to soil its good name and roots. Meanwhile, the live-service Assassin’s Creed Infinity is said to still be in relatively early development at Ubisoft Quebec and Montreal and likely won’t arrive until 2024 or 2025.I would say I agree with you Kean, just because when you have a bad guy leading (anything) and you are wishing for that one bad guy to go away, when he finally does, the guy who comes to replace him is even worse but, and here is my personal difference. Henderson also provides a bit more detail regarding Assassin’s Creed plans – the AC Valhalla DLC that Ubisoft is rumored to be spinning off into a standalone game is apparently titled Assassin’s Creed Rift and is likely to launch in early 2023. This list apparently includes a number of unannounced titles, such as a sequel to Immortals Fenyx Rising in development at Ubisoft Quebec, a new 2.5 Prince of Persia coming from Ubisoft Montpellier, and The Crew 3 from Ubisoft Ivory Tower. It’s unknown if the showcase will still go ahead, but it seems likely, as Henderson reports Ubisoft has upward of 20 different titles in line for announcements. According to tried and tested insider Tom Henderson, Ubisoft has been prepping a big showcase for a while, although scheduling has been thrown into disarray by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and other real-world events. Ubisoft’s release calendar looks a bit anemic at the moment, but the company may fill it out in a big way soon. ![]()
